A portrait study of a woman in profile, created from direct observation. This piece was painted during my time at the "Hatahana" Studio School for Figurative Painting and Drawing in Tel Aviv.

Artistic Context: My creative process is rooted in meticulous observation, breaking down the subject into its core elements of color patches, values, and forms. This academic oil portrait study captures the depth and character of the subject, bridging the gap between realistic accuracy and artistic interpretation. (My training at Hatahana Studio, under the guidance of esteemed artist Aram Gershuni, was foundational in developing this approach to portraiture).
