This drawing is part of a deeply personal and moving series of pencil drawings. These works on paper tell the story of my late grandparents, Rabbi Zecharia and Naomi Bashari, who were values driven figures and Zionist pioneers during the founding of the state.

Love, family, Judaism, and Zionism were the core values that guided their lives. This drawing series complements my figurative oil painting collection, capturing intimate family moments with the delicate simplicity of graphite.
