I painted this piece in a small house we rented during my maternity leave,
an intense period when the need to express myself was stronger than ever.
From the window, I saw a large white sheet hanging on a clothesline.
I chose to represent it through a large form that, like the laundry, began as white.
The background was painted in the green tones of the garden seen from the window.
The pure white laundry transformed into black,
while the garden plants turned into browns and grays.
Certain areas are strictly defined, while others remain open with thick brushstrokes.
With colors that correspond with the world of modern design,
a fascinating and thought-provoking work was created.
The painting is part of a series of abstract paintings, fascinating and full of chic,
drawing inspiration from Israeli landscapes and Jewish values,
and corresponding with the world of modern design.
Contrary to a realistic painting that presents a defined and clear image,
an abstract painting is undefined, and that is its magic.
