Custom Commission | Modern Abstract Expression Medium: Acrylic on Canvas | Original Size: 100x100 cm
This piece was a bespoke commission, born from a wonderful collaboration. A client reached out to me following a recommendation from her interior designer, after discovering my work on Instagram. She was looking for a modern, geometric abstract piece for the entryway of her new home.
The Challenge:The home was meticulously designed in a modern style, featuring parquet flooring, white walls, a black dining area, a gray sofa, and a striking turquoise kitchen with terracotta accents and gray marble. The goal was to create a painting that would harmonize this rich color palette and transform a blank entryway into a sophisticated focal point without overwhelming the space.
The Process:
 
 
Defining the Vision: Through deep consultation, we decided on a composition of green, brown, gray, and black tones to elevate the entryway while complementing the home's existing interior.
 
 
Visual Inspiration: The client shared photos of the wall and the surrounding spaces, allowing me to precisely calibrate the colors and atmosphere.
 
 
From Sketch to Canvas: I prepared four initial sketches. The client chose her favorite, and together we refined the shapes and shades.
 
 
Final Refinements: During the painting process, I made subtle adjustments based on the client’s feedback to ensure the result was exactly as she imagined.

The Result: A chic, artistic statement piece that adds life and individuality to the home. It fits the space perfectly, as if it was always meant to be there.
