This drawing is part of a personal and moving series of pencil drawings that were featured in an exhibition I held following the passing of my grandparents. 
 

 
These works depict the life story of Rabbi Zachariah and Naomi Bashari, my grandparents, who were people of deep values and Zionist pioneers who immigrated to Israel during the establishment of the State.
 
Love, family, Judaism, and Zionism are the values that guided their lives. This series joins my collection of figurative oil paintings on canvas.
